PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCING
Rob has 16 years of experience in PA announcing, dating back to his very first job as the voice of his high school baseball
team, when he was just 14 years old. Throughout his career, he has been behind the microphone for nearly 1,000 events at the high school and collegiate levels -- covering football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, baseball and softball, soccer, and lacrosse -- and it truly has become his biggest passion.
Currently, Rob is living and working in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. He is PA announcing for the University of North Carolina, Duke University, Green Level High School and Durham Academy, and NCHSAA State Championship events. In 2023, Rob auditioned, and was named, the new in-stadium voice for UNC football.
From 2015-2022 in Indiana, Rob was the voice of Hanover College (D-III) and Madison High School, then the University of Indianapolis (D-II), along with Franklin Community High School and Brownsburg High School, and would occasionally fill in for events at IUPUI and Butler University (D-I).
In 2021, out of hundreds of submissions, Rob was named one of five finalists for the new Indiana Pacers public address announcer position. Also that year, he was chosen to be the PA announcer for The Spring League, a developmental football league with former college and NFL players that played games at Lucas Oil Stadium and was nationally televised on FOX Sports.
Rob has also been the announcer for Great Lakes Valley Conference volleyball and basketball tournaments, and was on the microphone for the 2022 GLVC Lacrosse tournament and the NCAA Division II women's lacrosse regional championship.
Other experiences include the 2019 and 2022 Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships at IUPUI, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball and basketball tournaments in 2017, along with the first two rounds of the 2017 NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament.
